Colours and tones
I've added quite a lot of warmth to this picture (look at the brick pillar to the right) clear yellow/warmer rather than natural red brick.
Are you happy with the warmth of this picture?
About right? Too warm? Not warm enough? (It's OK if you want to say, "we don't know".)
I'm just looking for a guide so that I can edit with this in mind. We can always adjust later if you don't like something. If there's a better picture in the set that represent what you like, let me know.
Fran: It would help me to know if there is going to be a bright white dress. I don't know if the dress is remaining a secret, so you can always message me directly and I'll not tell anyone.
All the other photos...
Registry office
I've contacted the registry office, as they suggest on their website, so I can coordinate with the staff. I know they usually have specific parts of the ceremony where they invite the photographer to take specific photos. I want to make sure we don't upset them!
I plan to be there early enough to catch all the arrivals and get pictures of family.
Group shots
Here's your list of group photos:
- Both of us
- Both of us and both parents
- Each of us with individual parents
- Full group shots
Some suggestions:
- Both of you, and each of your parents separately (in addition to both of you and all parents in a single shot)
- Issac & Jude?
- Fran and ??
Other suggestions:
- Once it's dark outside - a photo of everyone inside taken from outside on the street through the window, a bit like a passer-by would see... I think it might be a great image "looking in".
- Walking shots. I really like the shots of you both walking around, and I think it might be nice to just get some that include passers-by. They might not go "in the wedding album" but I think they'll give you something fun to look back at.
- A baseball cap. If you bring one along and don't tell anyone, it would be a fun thing to include when you share the photos with family later. Maybe there's something else that's better, but including something that nobody sees until the photos come out later might be fun.
